Penny Whitehead

Penny Whitehead (GAICD) is a commercially minded, strategic leader with demonstrated success achieving business outcomes and strong organisational performance. Combining agility and broad experience in business operations with significant marketing expertise, Penny has demonstrated success in improving revenue, productivity and operational efficiencies including the diversification of funding streams.

A strategic thinker who can introduce and deliver innovative marketing, audience engagement and stakeholder communications strategies, Penny has the ability to review and implement business enhancing systems including IT, finance, human resourcing, retail and project management.

Penny is a curious and inspiring leader with a strong work ethic and success in turning ideas into actions. Striving for excellence and motivating others to do the same, Penny has a broad and substantial network that has been built through her natural people skills and ability to develop strong relationships.

Penny’s past role have included Geelong Gallery Deputy Director—Commercial Operations & Development, Abercrombie & Kent Marketing Manager and Yering Station Brand Manager. Penny has extended experience as a small business owner and consultant, previously operating Provincial Wisdom from 2009 to 2017.

Wendy Clark

Wendy Clark is a professional, well-connected and personable team player who prides herself on fostering relationships and delivering exceptional stewardship.

Formerly the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager at Geelong Gallery, Wendy has experience in cultivating and stewarding new and existing relationships between the organisation and its’ patrons to ensure the ongoing support of purpose. Wendy’s tenure at Geelong Gallery included the development and implementation of a philanthropy strategy and focus on the organisation’s capital campaign.

Wendy has over 20 years’ experience in partnerships, marketing, PR and strategic planning across the corporate and for-purpose sector. Wendy has worked at News Corp London across marketing and partnerships and News Limited Australia in the commercial team, collaborating with editorial, research, and marketing. Wendy supported the inaugural Run for the Kids Committee in partnership with the State government, City Link, and other corporate and public interest groups. 

In a volunteer capacity Wendy has supported The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, the Cure for MND Foundation and Anglesea Community House.

Stephanie Kline

Stephanie Kline is a communications, data analyst and content management professional. With past roles at the National Heart Foundation and Deakin University’s DVCR Office, Research & Innovation, Stephanie is proficient in monitoring and gathering data from diverse platforms to enhance comprehension of results and trends. Stephanie’s capabilities compliment and enable the PW Strategy team to gain a deeper understanding of impact, audience preferences, and organisational efficiencies through data.

Stephanie and Penny met when Stephanie was involved in the inaugural GG Connected program at Geelong Gallery. Stephanie demonstrated a strong work ethic and attention to detail that caught Penny’s eye and has resulted in a reunion of sorts!
